MR. TURNER’S ODE

MR. TURNER’S ODE

A shoot inspired by portraits of my icons and their signature characteristics. Stylistically formed from the indisputable and distinct beauty of Balmain’s blazers, to the contemporary style of the Annex’s designs.

I worked with the golden-eye himself, Johnny Diaz Nicolaidis, on this shoot for my website. This man knew exactly what I wanted to create as soon as we spoke. It’s inspired by a few of the greatest men in fashion and style, including Tom Ford, James Bond, and more.
I wore Balmain, the Annex, and a mix up of a few basic pieces from The Shirt Maker and Bassike to style the look, and JDN made it happen.
Check out the full shoot below!

Love the playful sophistication of this shoot. I bet you could make Mr Tom Ford himself blush. Love your collaboration of Balmain and Bassike, this is so Sydney yet so NYC chic, walked straight off the runway and broken some hearts along the way. Skull slippers are very Playboy Mansion meets Harvard Law but you have managed to pull them off so well I am not opening up a side tab looking for a pair for my man. Ooooh, $290USD, swoooooon. xo
