There’s nothing I love more than combining music, art, dance and fashion. Take an iconic shopping destination, an up and coming musician, some of the greatest brands in Australia, and you have yourself The Strand Arcade’s AW17 campaign.

First of all, Sydney-siders will know this shopping destination well. Its hall illustrates the grandeur of the Victorian era in the late 1800s and stands proudly among Sydney’s growing modernity. Although it currently boasts over 125 years of age, The Strand Arcade remain at the forefront of fashion.

The AW17 campaign houses an interactive video that is the first of it’s kind for The Strand Arcade. With the click of your mouse, you can see the details of each look and how to shop it. The video styles pieces from Australian labels that call the majestic building home. From Scanlan Theodore, Dion Lee, Manning Cartell, and Bassike in addition to P.Johnson, Fred Perry and my personal favourite, Jac+ Jack.

Sloan Peterson, influenced by the fashion statements of Nancy Sinatra and David Bowie, has proven the perfect fit with her edgy dream-wave vocals. Peterson takes us on a visually stunning tour within The Strand Arcade as she layers the video with a fresh and natural grace that can only be described as utterly effortless.
