NAVY IS THE NEW BLACK: LOGAN & MASON

NAVY IS THE NEW BLACK: LOGAN & MASON

One of the many things I’ve learnt from my Grandma – and I’m completely aware that this may be bizarre to you – is how to perfectly make a bed, and the sheets you need to have a luxe sleep. I can still hear her voice echoing friendly reminders in my head saying “Hospital corners, Jordan. Don’t forget the hospital corners!”In saying this, it was only fitting I team up with Logan & Mason to style up my bedroom with bedding from their AW16 collection.

I always give myself reason for spending a bit more than usual on bedding. I figure that you have to sleep everyday, so why not make sure you’re sleeping like royalty? In my eyes, nothing beats that feeling of gliding into 1500 thread count sheets to have your night’s slumber.

It’s important to think about your room when you’re picking bedding to ensure that what you get will be cohesive with what you have going on design wise. I have deep chocolate floorboards with dark leather and polished furniture, that’s lightened by white walls and a rug that has shades of blue denim and dark leather. I knew that Logan & Mason’s Essex Navy set would be the perfect look and feel for me.

Essex Navy‘s quilt and pillow sets has an incredibly fine navy blue Herringbone pattern partnered with a white border which gives it a classic entitlement. I further tied in some more shade of blue with an ombre indigo throw and, further used more neutral coloured square and long cushions to draw the coloured aspects of my room out of from the dark furniture.

You can find everything from Logan & Mason I used to bring my room to life here:
Logan & Mason’s Essex Navy Quilt Setwith long cushion and European pillows.
Logan & Mason Ombre Throw – in indigo.
Logan & Mason’s Kai Pillow – in natural.
Logan & Mason’s Balmoral Long Cushion

Being a gentleman is a lifestyle. Not singularly about what you wear, or your behaviour and manners, or your aura – it’s driven from everything you do. So gear up gentlemen, it’s time to equip another trait of having a class bedroom.

There’s just one downside about all of this… getting out of bed in the morning will become known as mission impossible.

Sleep well, readers!
